a nice hards day work.........wear your body out........depends on what is keeping you awake too. I get so many things going on in my mind sometimes I can't turn it off. I tried melatoinin and that stuff seemed to work but it made me have weird dreams, so I quit taking it. Abiem is really really good.

Avoid eating or exercise too soon before bed, avoid caffeine in the evening. Drink warm milk or a caffeine free herbal tea like Sleepy time before bed. Go to bed and get up at the same time everyday, even on weekends, this way when you go to bed your body will be ready to rest. Don't take a nap during the day, and get off the computer an hour before bed. Hope this helps! Good Luck! =)

working out, reading, relaxing music, nice long bath, warm milk helps some. Benadryl if I am not mistaken is pretty safe & knocks me out when I take it.
Don't rely on prescription drugs..the side effects aren't worth it. There are some natural sleep aids at your local health food store. Last but not least do you have any clue as to what is causing it?

Using a relaxation tape.
If its a regular thing, you may need to do some "wind-down" activities before bed. Sometimes I find reading helps. Or listening to music. If it continues for a long period of time, see your doctor :)
