Ok trust me on this, i am a fashion expert, Ok go for a pair of jeans with either a nice flat or pair of black heeled boots, and if you wear the boots you can wear the pantlegs rolled up or down. If your hair is naturally straight then curl it, and if its already curly then scrunch it, Wear a more than casual but less than fancy shirt, and for jewellery..for a necklace, a nice pair of beads that match the rest of your outfit and hoop earing if you have a pair, some lipgloss and a little bit of foundation and blush. dont give urself a label like prep, goth or emo. make ur own style. i do long shirts paired with big chunky necklaces and good fittin jeans. mascara, blush and a shiny lip should do the trick. try some soft waves for ur hair

Well what i do is look at the huge styles of right now like leggings, fur and big necklaces and ask my self how i can make it my own look because most guys don't want a girl who blends in they want a girl who stands out with her own style.
