Since it is just for class, try CF at $30.77, plan on a hold time of maybe a month. Another is CPA at $54.20, plan on holding no matter what for about a month. And, here is a secret to take to class -- do you know what they do, what business they are in? Of course not, you are not buying a business, you are buying stocks. Much different. I can tell you they pass my personal filter: no handguns, no distillers, no gamblers, no pawnshops, no commercial prisons. My own "dirty money" list, get your own. If it makes you nervous not knowing what CF does, make something up. Consolidated Fungus. Chicken Fatsos. In two weeks, tell me that it mattered.

I own Bodisen Biotech, BBC. This is a Chinese company that sells organic fertilizers. Their products have growing demand in China. They have had some legal problems recently and the stock has gotten killed. I think it has been oversold. This is a stock that could double. Here is a link:

EXXon Mobile Stock

Exxon Mobil shares touched a record high after the company reported its 10th straight increase in profit and its biggest production gain since Exxon's 1999 acquisition of Mobil. The world's three largest oil companies -- Exxon Mobil, Shell and BP Plc (BP) -- netted $172,000 a minute during the quarter. The long-term outlook for Big Oil is very bullish. Demand continues to be strong, and supplies just aren't keeping up.

You would have made over 500.00 in one day on $60.000.00 invested in your virtual stocks.

Try China Mobile (CHL). It will be good for your class because it's in a great economy and also pays a 3.5% dividend.

Maybe if you like it, you can buy some with your own money.

The last thing your teacher would want you to do is find Stock suggestions on Yahoo Answers. You have no idea who these people are. you have no idea what their qualifications are. You have no idea what their motivation is.

Get smart. Work on this using more conventional resources.
