Is there any some psychological reason I am attracted to girls of indian origin?

I have noticed this since the 7th grade i have had crushes on three indian girls already, and had thoughts about 5 girls other than the three. I am of italian ancestry, and i am aware that sometimes the meditteranean and the asian caucasians have simular, but distinct at the same time features. so i am used to larger noses, dark skin, that special mouth, and the large amount of dark hair. and as i mentioned my neighbors are indian, so i never experienced the prejudgist about indians that people think(thanks to the gulf war.) and i find myself often attracted to other asian caucastoids, and medditteraneans. But this sort of annoys my dad, because he thinks that i'd have a hard time(since mideastern and asian culture is more conservative than european and north and south american.

oh, i forgot to add, that my dad is more concerned that i am limiting myself.

I do not think it is a psychological reason -- it is a matter of attraction. When I see Indian women I feel the same as you. The features are what attract you, and there are several features that Indian women have that make them that way to others. Your dad may not be right, not all are conservative, and if you meet the right woman from an Indian background, then it's no longer the problem of "holding yourself back." If you can find an Indian woman ( and I speak of the women from Delhi, Mumbai, etc.) that finds you attractive too, you may have a perfect match!

everyone has their preferences. as long as you don't see other ethnics groups as "less than", you're generally fine. It's okay to be attracted to certain features more than others.

thats fine but i dont think u should limit urself to just dark ppl. Try takin interest in other girls also. I used to always used to favor dark guys also just because i thought we would have more in common(im sort of greek...). But i think its more fun getting to know other ppl too. Now i find myself obsessed with blonde guys l0l.
