Sounds like you are nearing the end of your pregnancy!!! Congratulations! Try to relax and rest up for the delivery. If you go into labor before you see you doctor again, chances are, you're gonna know it. I was induced, but my sister's water broke at home. Just before that, she had bad cramps and diarrhea. Next thing you know, her water broke and in just a few hours she had her baby.

Is this your first? Sometimes, it takes a little longer to get going with your first. I know that is not what you want to hear. You can be dilated at 3 for several weeks. The pelvic pressure is a good sign. I hope it happens soon, but hang in there. You might just go over your due date, but as long as baby is healthy, then a little longer is okay. The good new is that a lot of doctors will induce if you go longer than 41 weeks.
Good luck!

I don't think you'll need to be induced...you're in prelabor now, and you could physically go another two weeks before the placenta starts to fail. It won't be that long though, I'd wager. Just keep walking, take care of yourself. Take the time to go get a hair cut or your nails done, just relaxing will help you go into labor too.
Keep drinking lots of water, as much as you can. Dehydration can prolong the onset of labor, and slow down contractions.
Make up some meals now so that you have prepared foods before you come out of the hospital, like throw together some lasagna's and soups, etc. And sleep. You'll be wishing in another two weeks that you'd built up your sleep bank when the baby is up eating all night ;-)

It looks like you're in the pre-labour stage, early contractions do feel like cramps. My guess is you deliver within the next 36 hours.
When you wipe and see a bit of blood, the baby will be there within 24 hours for sure. Keep on walking if you can, that will help.
Congratulations and Good Luck.

i tried eating pineapples and hot food, and did everything else you wrote. as well as that i thought it would be a good idea to go for a run with my dog :)
Nothing helped. in the end it's up to the baby. hope labour starts on its own.
My daughter was 4 days late after 3 1/2 days of labour :)
Good luck :)

you sound like you're in the beginning. I know everyone says this, but you'll know when you're in labor. I was a first time Mom two years ago and had no freakin clue! When the pains are consistant, and come and go minutes apart is a very clear sign. Good luck, Mom!!!!! Congrats

Sounds like your body is getting ready for the big event. Labour will happen when your body is ready, there's not much else you can do other than wait and follow what your doctor says. Good luck!

Just so you know, only about 5% of women deliver on their due date.
