My firend is turning 11 and I want to give her some party ideas cuz all of her's so far a BORING ( even she thinks so)

Try a scavenger hunt! Whether it be at a mall, in the back yard, or any other spacious place, have someone hide a lot of stuff, and give out clues on how to find it. Or better yet, come up with some kind of treasure map. Guest with the most things found wins a cool prize.
Have guests dress up as pirates. Just in case, have plenty of pirate gear on hand; ie, eye patches, hats, tattoos, clip on hoop earings, swords, etc.
Speaking of tattoos...every pirate needs one or fifty, right? Set up a tattoo parlor! Whether it be stick-on tattoos, face/body paint, henna...You can't be a pirate without some ink! ;) (Just make sure it's removable, or you'll have some unhappy parents!)
How about some contests?
1) Challenge all the guests to go throughout the party speaking like a pirate. Have parents/chaperones keep a weather eye out--or ears open, as the case may be--to judge who's the best pirate of them all. Give the winner some cool swag!
2) Have a Captain Jack Sparrow 'talent show'. Best impression of the oddball captain wins!

Something with walking the plank into a dumpster. "Amputation station" so kids can get a peg leg, pin feathers on the real parrot, bobbing for treasure with hypodermic needles, poison in cake.
Did I mention I hate kids?
