Ask Hiro to do it (Heroes)
Use a stopwatch or other artifact from the Twilight Zone
Get Zack to do a "time out" (Saved by the Bell)
Ask Samantha to do it (Bewitched)

Well what I usually do is pull out the stem on my watch or remove the batteries from my clock. Is that cool or what?

close your eyes really tight and concentrate on where you want to go. you'll need to look constipated to acurately stop and travel through time.
