several years ago, my husband told me to go next door and get his hammer. (he'd been building my daughter a small 2 story house, it was close to completion.)
As I opened the door and walked into the livingroom, I reached down on one of the stairs to pick up the hammer and I heard two men talking upstairs in the bedroom. I could not make out what they were saying.
I just stood there listening and trying to hear. After a couple of minutes they just stopped. I had the eerie feeling that whatever...was aware of me and quit.
We live way out in the country. No houses close by. No one was in the house.I looked.
I was not afraid...merely puzzled.
No, I am not nuts.

her house was new. We'd just built our new house and moved in. The land we bought was woods and we had to cut trees to have room to build. Both New houses are located next to eachother with a driveway separating the two and are right off the road.

have not seen or felt anything since and have no feeling of fear here.
Believe me, I can feel it--if evil is around. I once lived in a house, many years ago where I felt an evil presence on several occassions there.
Once you experience an evil presence, you know the difference.

just because the houses are new does not mean that the land that you built them on dose not have a history,it could have been ghosts and probably were if you checked and there were no people there. that land could have had people living on it hundreds of years ago,have you experienced anything else since that one time? if the land is haunted you will hear/see/feel more.

Sometimes manifestations play out a scenerio over and over. They may not be aware of your presence. If they do become aware, the scene is stopped and wait until another convenient time. You have to realize that sometimes entities are "actors" and will do things for no particular reason. They may be pretending to be real people and are merely "play acting".

well i have this thing i think of it as a sixth scence becuase when i was younger and still do i'd be seeing these things but onece i lived in this town house that was two stories and the landry room was in the middle were the stairs are and my mom would stop and see me sittind there talking to something and my mom asked me who i was talking to and i said joey and it was a lilttle boy about atless 1 or 2 years younger then me and his mother and to find out that there was a famliy of a mother and her son that died in there so i some what do belive in ghosts becuase i have exp with it so i'd have to say your not crazy

There have been countless occurrences and stories and even documentaries on TV showing similar events, so let us not try to pretend that nothing is happening!
Although I am looking for real concrete answers, I am certain that energy circuits can carry images both visual and audio, perhaps even such things as feelings and emotions. There's obviously so much around us that we cannot see. Perhaps our brains can tune in to various energy circuits at various times. Conditions must be right for the connnections, and every once in a while it happens.
Though it has never happened to me, it seems logical that one day our brains will be able to receive and transmit without mechanical contrivances.

Yes it could have been I have had a ton of encounters with ghosts. If no TV, radio no one on phone talking, and Like you said no one close to you. So yes it could very well have been. Now no one here can say yes or no for sure because they were not there but if nothing was making noise then sure it could be.

How old is your house. What is the property like, does it have a history? Could be the spirit world, or a number of other phenomena. Need more information regarding setting.

Perhaps those ghosts was talking cause they wanted to know what you are doing. Now the spiritual world exists too whether of satan or God angels. We all have a guardian angel and perhaps that what you were hearing cause I believe our assigned angels talks to us sometimes.
