The first one I took (the positive one) was a digital one, I took it in the evening. The next 2 were just regular pg tests, I took them around the same time, they were negative. the next one was digital-negative. Then the last on was digital, I took it as soon as I got up, it was negative.

It is true that false positives are extremely rare and it is the negitives that are probley wrong not the positive so I would go see the doctor about getting a blood test done. Good luck.

That must be frustrating! Did you take the test and read the results within the window of time? Sometimes a "positive" result is merely an evaporation line. If you read the results after the time limit, usually 10 minutes, they cannot be trusted.

Then again, if you used different tests, the first one might have had a more sensitive test. Some tests can detect lower amounts of HcG than others. I'd try again with a first response type test or call your ob/gyn for a blood test. That will be definitive.

False positives are rare, so hopefully you'll get good news soon!

Good luck!

There are such things as false positives unfortunately! Check out www.peeonastick.com and see how reliable your brand is. Did you use any medical intervention? If you took an HCG shot it could be traces of that before it left your system. Also, the urine tests have a threshold to hit for positive. If you used different brands, it could be that they have different thresholds. Or, you might've been pregnant early on but unfortunately lost it and your HCG level has dipped below what the test can detect. Good luck to you!

What time of day did you take the first test? What time of day did you take the others? You're more likely to get a proper read with your earliest pee of the day. So depending on the time difference you could have easily buggered up the negatives. Also, you could have miscarried (baby didn't qutie implant properly and came free) giving you an HCG reading one day, and not the next. Your best bet is to get a doc's blood test.

It is VERY rare for a false positive. I took a few with my first and second that came out with one positive and the rest negative. Make sure that when you take the test that it is with your first MORNING pee.

Morning urine is more desirable concentrated and that i ought to position self assurance in this try result. in the previous 4 weeks pregnant (14 days from concept) the point would properly be somewhat too low for urine checks. try again interior the morning along with your first urine and if nonetheless uncertain bypass and performance a blood try achieved which will tutor you a range fee and is alot more desirable tender than the urine checks. even though it appears like you're definately pregnant.
