i ned help with this problem:

C.E Bemis and colleagues at oak ridge national laboratory confirmed the synthesis of element 104, the half-life was only 4.5 s. Only 3000 atoms of the element were created in the tests. How many atoms were left after 4.5 s?

You need to study. You should learn the definition of half-life. The answer is self-evident: 1500. This assumes that the test created all the 104 in the same instant and that the 4.5 s is the time from that instant.
