13th birthday parties are overrated.
But if you want it to be the talk of the school then bring booze and get drunk and start driving! No, that would be bad.

My twin daughters are turning 13 and we just decided on a party for them. We're having a Casino NIght.
We'll have both boys and girls, and the party will be on a Friday night from about 7:00-10:00 (maybe later...)
As each guest arrives at the party, we will give them 20 tickets to start off with. (You can buy these at Oriental Trading Company: http://www.orientaltrading.com/ for really cheap or you could make some out of paper.) They will be able to use the tickets to play games, and they'll get more tickets if they win.
Some of the games we've thought about are: Roulette (again, you can get this at oriental trading company), black jack, bingo and dice games. We'll also have a raffle... each kid gets a ticket with a number. Throughout the night we'll call out numbers and the person with that number gets a prize.
We'll also have dancing and just hanging out in the basement for whoever doesn't want to play games.
At the end of the night kids can turn in their tickets for prizes. We plan to get inexpensive stuff at the dollar store or at Oriental Trading Company.
Hope this gives you some ideas and Happy Birthday!!!

You could do tons of things, For mine I thew a hollywood party last summer and people are still talking, The lastest idea I saw was
The person rented a limo, they wore dresses and suits (It was like 16 people going) and since they lived near a city they went to clubs (Dance clubs for teens) and a Hard-rock cafe, And they hung out in the limo and drove around until they had to go home.
I personaly liked that idea and the price for it is varyed depending on how you do it, (Plus many would remember).
But on a low price range it would be hard to make a party people will remember (When you are 13), So you could try to make a good one for your 16th and forget about this year.
Happy Bday and have a good party!

Well, I just had a boy girl party at my house. We had a blast! We played tag across the street on the lawn. I got presents, it was fun and we got to socialize with the boys. Skating isn't babyish...if youn want negative press, serve beer. How about taking everyone to the arcade or lazer tag? At the metreon in SF they have fun group videogames.

If you already turned 13, then the party's over. Concentrate on 14.

For my 13th, I had a pool party and wore this really sexy and revealing bikini and got all my friends to do the same. We played great music and danced in the pool.
Have a pool party and wear something really sexy and revealing. Your party will definately be the talk of your school, people were still talking about it for weeks with mine.
