Helen Mirren for Best Actress because she had just the most amazing string of great performances of 2006: Queen Elizabeth on HBO, then the revival of Prime Suspect on PBS, followed by The Queen in movie theaters. In acting, it's called a Grand Slam.

I think Jennifer Hudson will win for Best Supporting Actress if only to give Simon Cowell the kick in the *** he's long deserved for his complete lack of cred in picking out true talent. She'll probably never have this high again in Hollywood, so I hope she goes on to a healthy Broadway career.

I'm also hoping that Alfonso Cuaron gets a couple for Pan's Labyrinth: he's a great director and it's about time Mexico get some recognition.

well the way things are going for Jennifer Hudson she might also take the Oscar home for Best Supporting Actress and Eddy Murphy for Best Supporting Actor...Dreamgirls i think will win quite a few...I also think Little Miss Sunshine will win something. For Best Picture i think it will go to The Departed. I hope.

don't know who'll win, but I really want Little Miss Sunshine to win. It is a spectacular movie, extremely well done, and the actors are fantastic. It deserves an Oscar more than any of the others.
