I'm just curious if a test exists, and if you think it is accurate or not by any means at all. For those who don't know what this is, I can hardly explain. That is why I am here asking. I know that people explain the levels of sexual attraction to same gender or oppososite gender. What is your view on this?

Here's the deal: it's "accurate" for what it is, but what it is tends to be grossly miscommunicated. The scale the Kinsey used was intended to map people based on their sexual BEHAVIOR. It was NOT intended to measure attraction, or to label the person based on their attractions. If you use the same numbers to talk about your attractions, then I don't really know how you "test" and score that, so I couldn't tell you how accurate it is.

Although the Kinsey studies have not been replicated exactly, two similar studies (Homosexuality/Heterosexuality by McWhirter et. al. & The Janus Report on Sexual Behavior) have shown similar results in regards to the number of exclusive homosexual males and females.

Since other studies have similar results, I think that the Kinsey scale is accurate.

You say "the" test. There are multiple tests by that name. I don't know about any of them, but others may. If you're in doubt, you might just try taking all the free tests you can find and see if they all come out the same.

Not even close to accurate. \ most of Kinseys postulates and research were thrown out by professionals in science when it was revealed that he was hiring pedophiles to sexually abuse children to gather his " research" on "child sexuality" The man was a perv and a pornographer who blackmailed his students into performing in his amateur porn business. most educated people in the gay community reject the kneejerk " he's friendly to gays so we must make him a star" attitude. the uneducated ones just go with whatever propaganda fluffs their egos.

No. Kinsey had to invent a 'gimmick' to sell his books, just like Stephen King was a master with the horror genre because of his plot devices and dramatic irony.

The Kinsey "Scale" is a MARKETING DEVICE to SELL MORE BOOKS.
