Is there anything thats free or cheap to do in San Diego at night thats fun, besides the beaches and downtown

Getting out for easy-on-the-wallet fun means going places you can just walk around and be entertained. Two super-pedestrian-friendly areas in San Diego: Ocean Beach and Hillcrest. Endless inexpensive-to-moderate restaurants, tons of coffee shops, ice ream dispensaries, yogurt mills etc. Loads of bookstores, clothing vendors. Hillcrest's proximity to Downtown and Balboa Park. OB's interesting focus on antiques shops -- and of course that amazing stretch of boardwalk-free beach. Not to mention the pier, its view of the coastal lights after hours... Affordable joy.

go to pacific beach and find a club called margertia rocks
they have 1c tacos and 2c chicken wings with 1$ margeritas all night good dance floor and good looking poeople or there's the pier in ocean beach little roller coaster and amusements
my favourite bar where long boards and the little grubby place right across from the roller coaster i think it was just the ob bar
but both of those have open mike nights and they are amazing
i met jason mraz in java joes which is another cool place to check out out and the kona coffe place right next to the pacfic beach peir does a great breakfast burrito so ya just go hang out in pb or ob it's really the best thing to do

Grand Canyon is a could. in case you have time, stop in Sedona Arizona, its certainly eye-catching! additionally using into Kingman is cool, the mountains are so majestic! additionally in Arizona, i think of its approximately 50 miles south of Winslow is Meteor Crater! Its a great hollow reason from a meteor from years in the past!
