Hi,

I got my last period on 12/24, did an at home insemination on 1/5 and haven't gotten my period yet - and no sign of it (no cramping). Some signs I've noticed... SEVERE lower back pain, 2 blue veins in each breast, light spotting on 1/17, slight nausea and terrible headaches and fatigue. I'm completely aware that I could be psyching myself out with many of the symptoms, but certainly not the blue veins or spotting!

I've taken more HPTs then I can count, 4 came back with a verrrrrry faint line last week, then several negatives. Took one today with a fainter line then last week's, but at least something was there....

I'm hesitant to go for blood work just yet, but have been confused at what's going on. It is unusual to still get a neg HPT at 5 days past missed period? Is it unusual to get faint positives...then negatives...then positives again? I'm so confused!

I know the Dr. is the best way, but I figured I'd see if anyone has gone through this-Thanks!

Laurie

Thanks for the responses....but I know that the Dr. and blood work are the best routes. I'm more interested in hearing from people who had a similar experience.

Any line, no matter how faint in the test window, is a positive. :)
