Jimmy buffet is always a beach party favorite. Also look to Kenny Chesney. He is a country singer that sings about the beach and partying. There is a song by Joe Nichols, sings a song called "Some Beach." Good luck to the party.

There's a pretty good band out of Los Angeles called Beachwood Sparks that recalls Jan & Dean and other famous Cali beach bands.
