Go to college. Doesn't matter which one (just make sure it's a 4 yr one eventually; can start at a JC).

Go to law school. Try and go to an ABA approved one so you don't have to take the CA Baby Bar.

Graduate law school and pass the bar (each state has one). Law school takes 3 years for a regular program, 4 for nite/part time.

Get as high a GPA as you can. Law schools care primarily about your GPA and LSAT. There's no real class that's recommended. No major either. You just want to get the highest GPA and LSAT you can. Do extracurrics too of course, but it's a secondary thing.

You have more questions than can be addressed well in one answer. I'm going to give you what you need to get started.

I've linked you to the Occupational Outlook Handbook. This entry will give you an overview of the profession that includes educational requirements.

The second link is to ehow.com that will also give an overview of how to get from where you are to where you want to be.

Best of luck to you.
