Paint the crack with clear nail polish on both sides to aid in sealing and stregthening it.
Then do what everyone else says, use it as a terranium for plants, or put a lizard or little reptile in it and create a habitat for it.
I say to seal it because the pressure of soil may cause the crack to worsen.

Personally, I wouldn't pay more than 75$ for the whole setup. Anything used like this depreciates in value by at least 2.5x even if it looks new because people have no idea how good of shape its in even if you tell them you took care of it. You might find someone to pay 100, 125....maybe even 150 if you get lucky, but honestly 50-100 would be a price where i might agree to negotiate. Another reason it's bad to buy used is because they don't get to be creative and buy what they want, they get the tank you basicaly set up, so it's valued less. Overall, depending on how bad you want to get rid of it, price it 50-100 bucks.

Make a terrarium out of it and place it on a stand in your bathroom or kitchen...wherever you have an empty space with a lot of light. Plants always look nice and very easy to care for in this type of an environment. You can put the "cracked" side to the back and place a stained glass piece in front of it as a colorful backdrop to the plants. Put marbles with the same colors as the stained glass in the bottom.

Terrarium. Put the crack on the back side where it won't show. You can find info on the web about small plants that would work well, a nice terrarium can be really attractive, could also use it for a gerbil or gecko. We have a hermit crab in one of our old ones, he is actually entertaining to watch.

You can use it as a terrerium, planter, or cage for a snake, but not to hold water. Simply throw it away... 10 gallon tanks sell for less than $20

You could do a mini-scale landscape project, kinda like a terrarium, only a bit more creative. Just picture a beautiful back yard that has the kind of landscaping you always dreamed of, then create it inside your tank. ><>

Fill it with some small stones and then some garden soil and plant a herb garden in it or some radishes or flower seeds and put it on your porch or on a stand of some sort for outside pleasure!

I suppose you could turn it into a planter. Or take it apart and repurpose the unbroken glass. Depending on how bad the crack is, you could house a small reptile or hermit crabs in it.

You can actually replace the glass on that side. But the effort required is not worth it. Just buy a new one and recycle the glass.

Put a crack on the other side so it looks like it's suppose to be there!
