If you already paid for it, then it too late to wait. I will probably wait until another OS come out. Windows XP is supported until around 2012, why buy something else until then, XP works. Actually my old Windows 3.1 works, but, that another story.

I would wait at lease 5 years, based on my experience with the beta2 version.
