We met about a month ago and have been going out a lot lately and becoming close. I really like here as a close friend. She has just told me that she has NEVER had an attraction for another woman before until she met me. It was so hard for her to tell me and she finally did today. I didn't know what to say I have never been with another woman and never planned to be. She was so worried that it would end our friendship and was crying when she told me. What should I do? Can we still hang out or will it be different now? I see her as a sister but won't take it any further than that. What should I say to her? Thanks.

Tell her the truth. She may be confusing her closeness for you with sexual attraction if this is new for her. You just may be the best friend she ever had and she don't know how to express it any other way. Just be honest and treat her the same and don't abandon her unless she get too weird for you and you are uncomfortable.

Tell her that you are really flattered by this but you dont have the same feeling for her that she has for you. Tell her that you do want to continue being friends with her and hang out and get close like you have been doing but your just not interested in that kinda relationship with her! ive had this happen when i was in hs and it ended up that we are still friends today. i just told the girl that i loved her as a sister but i didnt have any kind of interest in her further than that

My best friend (since begining of high school) recently told me something like that as well. Well, her problem was more along the lines of, "I'm not trying to challenge your relationship with your boyfriend or anything, but if I told you I loved you, would it change anything?" I freaked, but I didn't let her know that. I told her nothing would change, since we've been really close for 7 years now, but that she obviously can't expect anything cause she knows what my boyfriend means to me. And we've gotten past it, i think. It's been a couple of months now, and she's dating a guy...and having fun. I'm guessing it was more that she was having problems with guys and didn't know where else to turn.

well she can still be a great frined, jsut tell her you dont go for girls but you still want to be her friend. dont change anything about how you hang out or how you talk and act aroound each other. just because she likes you likes you dont mean nothing if she is told there will never be anything more than friends. i had a friend like that and we had such a blast together. infact she was my boss.

You've asked and answered your own question. You said "I see her as a sister but won't take it any further than that"--so tell her that.
