The New England Patriots are one of the best and most respected dynasties in the NFL. I mean, they don't have to be your favorite team like they are mine, but you HAVE to respect them for all that they have accomplished. They have won 3 Super Bowls out of nowhere in 5 years, led by a QB that was picked up by the Patriots in the 2000 Draft 6th round. Can you believe that? Every single team had the chance to get him, but they didn't. After the 6th round, the New England Patriots picked him up.

They have the second-best quarterback in the NFL and the top rated quarterback in the AFC EAST. Tom Brady. Enough said.

Corey Dillon is one of the best RB's out there. Now I am not saying that he is better than LT or anything, but he is still one of the best out there.

Tedy Bruschi is one of the best MLB's out there. Now I am not saying that he is better than Urlacher or anything, but he is still one of the best out there.

With all of these reasons to show, don't you have to respect??

They are a great team, and definitely the most consistent team in the NFL right now. I do respect everything that they have accomplished in football. Tom Brady reminds me of John Elway with his 4th quarter come from behind wins. I'm not a New England fan, but I know that they will be back in the playoffs again next season.

Hic-up, yep you got it chowd, Patriots earned there respect the hard way. With class, there isn't much of that left in the NFL these days. They are a very classy team from the front office to the beer vendors. I wish they would have represented the AFC in the Super Bowl. Instead we got the Pony's and all there Hick Fans! The Pats are a wicked good football team, pissa. Now go get me another beea.

Your three points: Brady - gotta agree there. Very talented.

Dillon - can't agree at all. I would not put Corey Dillon on my team if I were an owner if he didn't charge me anything.

Bruschi - very good. not elite, but very close to it.

not sure how anything you said makes them respected except the SuperBowl statistic... but I agree that they deserve respect.

I should mention that I am a big Colts fan.

no becuz this is a watered down nfl and these patriots wouldn't stand a chance vs. the '60s packers, '70's stellers, '80s niners and definetely not the '90s cowboys. and its not like the pats had much confidence in brady either. he didn't start until drew bledsoe got injured

Hell no. Most of their success came by luck. They aren't a dynasty either. The Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers, those are real dynasties.
