Democracy doesn't exist in UK, a nation that prides itself on freedom and choice. There is no way China could become a democracy the size of the country is too vast and the beliefs are so varied it would not work. How also could a country go from Communism to Democracy overnight...no one has been allowed to even think political thoughts or even consider God. As for would I buy it NO but some Western Capitalist Consumerist Greedy Bastard will and China will fcuked the same as the West.

"Democracy" is an abstract term. Mengzi (Mencius) talked about democracy in 300+ BC, but not in the same terms as the US. No country in East Asia, even Japan, will ever be the same system as the US.

There are elections in the countryside and in a few key cities, such as Shenzhen. But as we learned in Iraq, elections don't equal democracy. You have to accept paths that each society takes.

No, I won't. There is no way the CCP will just hand over power like that to a democratic system. They have it too good as it is. As soon as democracy and more freedom comes in, they'll lose power and people will realise they can become more than factory workers. That won't go down well with China's capitalist ways.
