Did Degrassi write Ryan Cooley out because it was something to do with his contract or it just went well with the story line?

He IS going to school.. but that's not why he left the show. It was actually written in that he was killed off.. he had no say in that. He didn't even find out about it until they were about start shooting the first episode of this season. He was trying to decide about going back to school though, when this happened, so he wasn't too heart broken about it.

No he left the show to go to college. He even said that Behind the Scenes of Degrassi. But he'll miss the whole cast and he was crying! <3

Ryan Cooley was going to leave the show any way, he was going to go to school in Toronto.

Ryan is going off to college... plus this session was taped over the summer time... so yeah... it's still sad though
