even as i'm no longer interior the united kingdom, if the commercial equipment is a few thing like the U. S., convinced, even min salary jobs are complicated to go back through. There are more desirable adults out of work, taking the jobs kids traditionally ought to take. Employers ought to choose human being workers, because they're a lot less in all probability to call out, and larger in all probability to be to blame, and do their job, seeing as how they go with the money (the position as maximum little ones nonetheless have mom and pa paying their costs). so a concepts as handing cv's, the way it extremely works right here, is that all and sundry is continually accepting applications, FEW all and sundry is fairly hiring. They try this so that you'll have a pile of apps to go back to a call on from even as someone quits. more desirable versatile hours ought to in all likelihood help her. also verify she is talking to managers even as handing interior the app, dressing properly for choosing up and handing in an app, function play accepted interview questions and solutions, etc.

You'll just have to go and ask at stores.
What are you good at? Do you connect well with people? Then perhaps you can find a sales job.
Also try some restaurants and see if they need extra weekend help for serving, cleaning etc.
You could start your own enterprise: invest in a lawn mower and go around the neighborhood soliciting customers who want their lawn mowed or cleaned up. If you have access to a truck, that's even better. Then you can haul their stuff away, too.
Aim for at least $15 per hour when working for yourself. You'll have expenses to consider (gasoline, travel time).
You'll make more money working for yourself than with a job, but it'll be additional work to find customers.

Since we don't know where you are , it's kind of hard. I'd put my application in in places which do things I'm interested in. Retail if you like selling, either fashion or cds. Working in restaurants or fast food places, especially if you're interested in customer service as a possible job.
Apply at your local library, to help with kids, maybe a realtor who needs someone to answer phones, return phone calls, keyboard info into the computer with data entry.
What skills do you have? Have you babysat and are you reliable? Can you do lawn work or shovel snow? Do you like working with plants, put your resume and application into a nursery or hortocultural store.
Put your resume and application in just about anywhere. Don't go in in jeans or with a lot of piercings or funny hair that's dyed black or weird colours, most employers will take one look at you and file your application under g. Don't have a snarly or surly attitude, be polite.

When I was 16, I worked in fast food. It's not exactly glamorous, but I did it all through high school. If your not interested in fast food, how about other retail stores.(Clothing and grocery stores.) I'm sure if you ask around you may find someplace that is willing to hire for Saturday work only.

when myself and friends were your age looking for a job we simply went in to the shops we were interested in and asked for an application form for any vacany available. we then filled them in a.s.a.p and dropped them back. you could also try the job centres to see if there are any saturday vacancies listed, but it would probably be a case of leg-work and asking. some shops may not even be advertising but have vacancies. you could also log on to the web and access the shops your interested in working for if any come to mind, and could even email the head office about your interest. i did this before, and was told there were vacancies for my local m&s store going which i had not heard of before then. good luck!!

At that age, I would try to apply at movie theaters, movie rental places, and grocery stores. There busiest times are the weekends. You can also try fast food. (My first job was a fast food place and if I were to do it all over again, I would opt for one of the first three choices I gave you instead of fast food.)
