The best way is to call your bank and ask what information they will want to complete the transfer.

Then, retrieve the info from your internet, and PRINT IT OUT!

Take the print out to the bank and send the payment.

That's it!

Good Luck!

A wire transfer usually refers to a transfer of Federal Funds by a bank through a Federal Reserve Bank. You would give written instructions to your bank to withdraw the funds from your account, which you would describe by name and number, and to wire Federal Funds in the same amount through the Fed directly into an account of the payee in your bank or another bank, also describing the payee's account by name and number.

Once the instructions are carried out, you will be able to obtain a receipt from the recipient bank showing the receipt by the bank of the transferred funds and the deposit of them directly into the payee's account.

Federal Funds are immediately available funds, so when the transfer reaches the payee's account the transaction is over. Unlike the deposit of a check, there is nothing left to clear. It's done.

When you are furnished with a receipt for the Fed Funds wire transfer and deposit of the immediately available funds into the payee's account at the recipient bank, you will have proof of payment.

Ok I will answer assuming you are in the UK.

I am assuming you have purchased goods and need to pay for them.

If payment is to be made in GBP (Sterling) to another bank/Branch in the UK you will need to go to your bank and arrange a Chaps payment. You will need Full name of beneficiary and their Bank account details including Name and |Address of their Bank.

You will need to take ID with you and the Bank will debit your account for the amount of the Chaps Payment and also a fee of between £12 & £35 depending on the amonut/bank of the chaps payment.

If the payment is to be made in a foreign currency or to a bank in another country you will need to call into your bank and ask to make an overseas transfer. Again you will need beneficiary Name/ Bank details and also thier swift or Iban code. You Bank will again debit your account for the amount of the payment and a fee of between £15 & £35 depending on the amount/format of the overseas transfer.

Again you will need to take ID with you.
