Every audio professional is dumbfounded on why the Ipod has become so successful. It is a cute player, designed for ease of use, etc. But the reality is that all of Apples music devices are horribly unreliable. Every other mp3 player on the market does not require special software to run. Not only do you have to use buggy Apple iTunes software to put songs on it, but the batteries and screens frequently fail. I have friends who are on their 3rd and 4th iPods, my question is: How about buying something reliable from a proven brand in electronics? Apple products are shiny gimmicks. Go with the e250.
