Tens of thousands of protestors marched on washington to protest the war in Iraq but whats to stop thoes people from Rushing the white house and taking over? I mean they can't all be stopped? Do you think that scares the govt? I mean I know that the people were protesting in peace but whats to ever stop that many people or more from going to washington and really doing some damage?

Aha! Yes, that's very true. Governments rely on the premise that people will let them govern - that people will think they are all-powerful. In reality they can't do much if people choose not to listen to them. There's maybe 1 police officer per 100 people, so they could easily overpower them if they worked together. If all those protesters worked together they could probably storm the white house. However, governments almost certainly have a plan for this, namely that the army would be called in and marshall law declared, until such time as a new president can be elected. The government would be in REAL trouble if there was a large section of the army that supported the coup too though...

There are speculations that the government is able and willing to control every move we make, everything that we do is known and tracked. If you think I sound paranoid read "The Pale Pony" by William Cooper, it will change the way you look at everything in this world.
