Absolutely. Med schools don't care what major you are, just so long as you've fulfilled their required courses.

There is no pre med major, so yes. You do have to take some prerequisite courses like bio, chem, physics, math (i think up to calc 2), and others. check out a school's website for a complete list of courses. Good luck!

You bet. My orthopedic surgeon had a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT before he went to medical school.

Your knowledge of chemicals will be a BIG help in med school as well as when you graduate and talk to your patients about medicine and what it's for, what it does, etc

you need to check out medical schools that you may be interested in and see what their prerequisites are
