I don't think that anyone should be forced to attend school. I believe that school is excellent and that its very important. But it is a free country, and nothing should be forced upon everyone, except taxes and jury duty which are neccessary.

I don't think kids should be allowed to drop out of school at all. We already have too many stupid people in the world, we don't need the kids that are supposed to be the future dropping out of school and being just as stupid as some people are now. School may be annoying and seem completely pointless (I know, I'm still in school) but I'd rather be in school than on the streets, poor, trying to get a job at 12 and completely stupid because I didn't pass the 8th grade.

I doubt that at 15 you'll get through for too lengthy only no longer displaying as a lot as college, in any State. in case you probably did this, you should grow to be a truant. i wish you at the on the spot are not wondering about this your self. I had a horrid time in intense college at 15, and that i did drop out myself at 16, and that i became seen truant and became needed through the truant officials and confronted with arrest until eventually I grew to grow to be 17, and then I were given a GED. although, i ought to both problematical it out, or INSIST on replacing colleges if its so undesirable that you're heavily desirous to drop out. Dont be depressing about intense college because it is only non everlasting and some thing of your life is a remarkable purchase longer. i recognize it ought to suck undesirable being in a horrid HS with terrible people, yet locate some inner strenght and carry close in there...dont be a quitter.

I think that it should be 18, I know several people who have dropped out and when they start to grow up and enter the real world they regret making such an immature decision; for the rest of their lives. Even after getting a GED they still feel un-accomplished.

I'm not sure I agree they should ever be able to legally drop out, but of course our school systems aren't nearly as good as they could be. I don't know. They're really hurting themselves if they don't continue their education, so I'm kind of like, school should be mandatory until college, at least, because at least with a highschool diploma you can get some kind of job.

NEVER. 14 and 12?? Are you serious?? All grades including high school and under should not have any age to legally drop out. It should be illegal not to attend school (through high school).

I feel if they drop out of school, they shouldn't be allowed to get a drivers license until they are 21.

The legal age is 16. Just old enough for one to "support" themself on McDonald's wages.

18 I don't think kids should drop out of school. I wish the school systems were geared more towards the kids and their interest in having an education, rather than testing them to death, and cause so many to feel they can't do it anymore.
