i don't know... if you are referring to americans... it's because the country is being ran by an ape... totally reactionary... no reasonable thought processes anywhere to be found...

I'm no psychologist, so I can't give you some psychoanalytical speech, but this is what I think is going on:

People who say they are promoting peace find that the world is full of people trying to kill each other for whatever idiotic reason. Seeing this, those in power believe that if they eliminate those who are causing all the raucous all our problems will begin to be solved. However, by killing the killers, more and more people are angered or divided by the act.

I myself don't have a solution; the world needs another Gandhi for that, but in his [Gandhi's] own words, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."

I think that's Bushs' philosophy on living. He didn't have a problem with that as goveror of Texas either!
