This is a theoretical disease caused by the inhalation of volcanic dust. It is similar to silicosis cause by asbestos inhalation.
The truth is it was made up by lexiographers (the guys who make dictionaries) to beat out the previous longest word in the english language 'floccinoucinihilipilification' I belive it is (I am sure I left out some thing, go to dictionary.com to find it) meaning to or having the habit of making or viewing everything as worthless. It is a lung disease which is caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust found in volcanoes and it is also known as pneumoconiosis. It is also the longest word in an english dictionary. However, there are longer words than this.
