It's a complete computer system including operating system on a chip, but without a hard drive. Nothing can be changed or saved. Internet TV systems are a good example.

Any interrelated / interdependent components are called as System.

For example, our complete body is a system. Here blood flow depends on heart, etc.

Similarly in computers / chip every part might be dependent on some other part. Say one module might be in need of input from some other module or so.

System is not only meant for Chip / Computer. It can be meant for anything which are inter related / dependent.

accualy they're the oparating systems on the computer and stored in chips and it can't be installed because the chip must exist such as RAM
