I agree with most of the answers. What do you really mean by the term heat rises. Heat is no material to fall and rise. What rises is steam or water vapour being lighter than air around.

at the same time as water freezes, that's volume expands by technique of .120 5 or a million/8, meaning it grows to 112.5% of that's unique volume... i do not imagine heating it produces an same outcome...in case you imagine we are all gonna drown, attempt this- take a pitcher, fill it a million/2 with water...drop in some ice,,, mark the liquid aspect of the water and go away it to soften, and word the 'new' liquid aspect.... i imagine you'd be shocked!
