Cancel all cards immediately I recognise I do not have my purse on me.
If it was suspected of being stolen same deal and also notify local Police Station.
Yes, I have lost and misplaced my purse several times actually. And each time I have cancelled my cards and notified everyone I could think of. It is our obligation by law to notify our financial institutions that we have lost our cards belonging to them. If they are used and we have not notified them we are liable for any debt incurred.
If I knew who was robbing me I would report them to the Police and if it is proven bring charges on them.

If you lose your checkbook, purse or wallet (or anything with your account information on it), simply call your bank and they will take care of everything from there.
They will freeze your checking account and monitor all of the approved debits (such as outstanding checks that you wrote, debit card activity, bill payments and automatic withdrawals), open a new account for you, transfer your stuff, replace your cards, etc.

Cry then call the bank call the credit card company and most likely my purse wouldn't have any money in it so i would just go to the dmv and get a new drivers license and SS office to get a new social security card.

I would be happy and hope they paid the negative balance. Seriously though, I would report the identity theft and contact the companies immediately. I would also check my credit report more often to monitor the movement on there as well.

I changed my bank. HSBC allowed frauds to abuse direct debits on my account. Even when I got a new account number, they linked the old and the new together, and it happened again. Time to change banks.
Yes, I got my money back. But that's not the point.
