It's normal for a male to go with a shirt. Don't be a prude

I'm 11 and I always go shirtless when in summer time. A lot of young boys where I live goes shirtless even in public.

What could be wrong with anyone jogging this way? The human body is not a dirty little secret - it's a natural, wonderful machine.

SPF 35 all over of course, if you have a UV risk!

Its fine. As long as he is secure with his body he can do it. I'm 14 had I jog and run shirtless, sleep shirtless, etc.
I have had girls look at me and stuff with those romantic eyes too b/c of it.

Its upto him.... if he feels comfortable doing it then let him do it.

He has reached an age now where he is aware of his actions and consequences.

Obviously if he is comfortable doing it then he is self-confident. Having confidence is a great thing when your a teenager and you should not discourage any form of it in these fragile years.

I agree also, but considering what neighbors think,if their sensibilities would be offended. I would also consider who else may be" looking",the incident in Missouri to name one.A predator could be anywhere. There's also the "freaks" that just like to ogle a young athlete like your son.I would have him wear a shirt of some sort, also healthier way to handle sweat & body grit etc. Take care. Of course it's alright. Many boys do that, if they have a good body, that is (don't go looking like some shrunk up idiot).

It depends a lot on where you live. Where I live, in South-Western Australia it certainly isn't because of the enormous risk of skin cancer which is at almost epidemic proportions in this country. If you live in a climate that is considered cold, that's probably a different story, however, if it were my son, and I mean no disrespect, I would be insisting on a shirt to be on the safe side. Melanomas, if discovered too late can be fatal.

shirtless is fine. however, it's common decency to wear a shirt while indoors, in the presence of girls and/or women. it shows respect.
