I am selling my hamsters old cage, "shes got a new one, spoiled cow, lol" and there is urine calcification in the corner, i want to remove it, ive cleaning it but it wont cow, please help!

Hi...sometimes there is calcification in my rabbit's plastic litterbox. I use white vinegar, and most of the time, that takes care of it. I don't know what you tried using to clean out your hamster's cage, but vinegar usually works for me.

Pour white vinegar in the corner and let it sit for about a half hour. You'll have to scrub a bit if its a big build up, but it will come off and the cage will look like new.

Try some vinagar. Let it sit for a while in the corner. Don't dilute it. The acid from the vinagar should help with the calcified urine stain. Good luck.

I sprinkle a light dusting of Baking Soda on the scale. Then add a little vinegar to that, and it bubbles all over and softens the scale so you can scrub it off easily.
