just tell the person, "hey I really didn't want you to tell anyone else. I trusted you with this information with the understanding that you wouldn't tell anyone. This is making me uncomfortable, so if you value this friendship, can you please stop." You don't have to be nasty about it, just tell her. "hey, can you not tell other people about what i'm telling you. You don't have to make it uncomfortable or whatever. I know you have to work with this person, and if they don't have the decency to not tell people your personal stuff, it's not worth putting up with.

This isn't somebody I would consider a friend. If I were you I would ask why he/she is telling your information and what/where they thought they were going to get out of by telling other people. And don't forget the word KARMA!

I wouldn't get too haired up by this because it will make things worse so gently ask your friend why she/he had to go and do this, and say I am so uncomfortable now because I have to face these people.
Don't forget..it is human nature to talk about humans. In fact, I bet what you are saying here is something at one time or another you have done to another. Am I not right?

Cut all ties with this friend and consider this a lesson learned. What goes around comes around so they will get what they deserve in the end.

This person isn't your friend. Dump him or her, and learn not to trust anyone you work with. When asked personal questions, either give them a blank stare or learn to ask simply, "How does this concern you?" If they persist, keep repeating calmly, "Sorry, I don't understand how this concerns you, can you explain?"

Tell her exactly what you saying here. Maybe you should say to her something about being a adult instead of acting like a immature girl in high school . Then document EVERYTHING she does and says in a journal(to cover yourself).
