Do you like this name and could you come up with a middle name for it? My significant other is from New Orleans. I thought this was cute. Please use brutal honesty! Seriously.

I am sure alot of people will think that it would be a bad name and get the kid made fun of. But it has a meaning to you and your husband, and it's unique and it is totally a boy name. I love it! I would pair it with something simple and manly, Cajun Michael, Cajun Nicholas. Or maybe something for you or your husbands family. I LOVE!!! the name! Good Luck! And seriously dont listen to the haters out there that will just say mean things.

Cajun is a cute name for a little child but when the kid gets older they will probably get made fun of soemtimes. i would say if it was girl Mary Cajun. and use it as a double name and is it was boy Cajun James or Cajun Daniel

I wouldn't use the name Cajun for a first name it would make a great great middle name though and boy would be the best to name Cajun but as a middle name... you could also use some famous louisiana name for the first name like Louis(louis armstrong famous jazz musician) or Jean pronounced John after (jean laffitte the famous new orleans pirate) John or James (john james audubon) Jerry Lee (after famous "great balls of fire" musician Jerry Lee Lewis).... I actually like Jean Cajun out of that list...

I don't like it at all. It's akin to naming one's child "Eskimo". If your significant other is from New Orleans and you're interested in paying homage to his heritage why not try researching some traditional Cajun/Creole names?

Cajun, seriously?! If you are going to name your child Cajun you mine as well have his/her middle name be Chicken! Please don't name your child after food! Having a meaningful name is a great idea but there have GOT to be better, meaningful names other than Cajun!

I don't like it....how about the name of a city near New Orleans, instead. I don't know the area or the cities, but maybe one of the city names would make a nice name.

Honestly-I think that child will get made fun of. What if you use it AS the middle name and use more of a traditional first name. I feel bad for some of these kids these days with really screwed up names. You don't want them to be picked on every day at school trust me. It will kill their self asteem!
