It will be very difficult to deal with Iran because they have learned from history and are protecting their nuclear sites from attack.
While it is true they could not withstand a sustained aerial bombardment, they could probably rebuild quickly. Also, attacking Iran would disrupt the flow of oil, and **** off China to no end.
Any first strike use of nuclear weapons against Iran would destroy the credibility of the USA. If Israel did it, Arab leaders would have to go to war with Israel, or be beheaded by their own people.

The whole point of actively working (or threatening) with other nations to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons really isn't working all that well anymore... As countries such as N. Korea, Iran, even a few African nations, become more and more developed they will want to seek the special weopon that grants them validity as a world power; nuclear weopons... I say, we take our aging nuclear arsnal, sell it off to countries trying to develop their own... And simply step up or MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) policy... Nothing like saying to other countries... Yeah, you can nuke us... And we promise we''ll nuke you past the gates of hell should you actually do it...
Nothing like living in perpetual fear to keep the protestors off the street...

Freezing of all accounts
Embargo of all shipments to and from the country

You see it's ok for USA and our Allies to have nukes, but not some country we don't own to have a deterrent. Kiss America's rear and the USA will treat you right.

Unfortunately, our only real option is to wait for them to bomb Jerusalum, then level their country. Might want to just catch Iraq also.
