My first girlfriend died at a young age (20). I never got it back.

Getting that feeling back takes work on both parts. If you are serious about this I suggest finding time for the two of you. Make the sparks fly once again. It is obvious you once felt strongly towards this person. Why then but not now? Make it happen .

Never lost it, and kept it that way by kidnapping hubby for a romantic dinner followed by a room full of rose petals, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries at a really nice hotel, sexy lingerie, great song list and a lot of things I can't tell you here.
But it works.
