steal-but then ur breaking a ten commandment, screw the governments law, but gods u have to keep holy
borrow money and dont return it- that seems to work well
finders keepers law- go to church or some big function and steal there money but deny that u stole it and say u found it. thats a good one.
beat some one up and or threaten-so they end up giving u the money
take hostages for a ransom- just well have some good escapes plans
work at cvs/pharmacy for one night- thats what i did but well more then one night.

He could sell stuff on Ebay, or he could give you something worth more then $40 for you to sell on Ebay.
There are freelance sites and forums online looking for people to do work for them. He could get a very small project and make $40, plus some for himself.
