Come on now, that's a slightly difficult answer! How about best album (to me, Sticky Fingers)? Or best song writer (Bob Dylan is my answer)? Best song is very broad! But, I'll tell you what I'm listening to now....Hyacinth House by the Doors.

The greatest song of all time has to be "We Are The World" just because with everything going on in the world, this is the only song that represent peace and unity something that everybody has forgotten lately.

This may seem like a sarcastic answer, but here goes:

"Timothy" by The Buoys

It was banned by many radio stations, because its subject was...get ready for it....CANNIBALISM.

But it had a really catchy melody, was rocky and had great vocals.

The Buoys were a "one hit wonder" from the late 60s/early 70s.

PS: I love everything Bob Marley wrote. That man never wrote a single song that was less than great but any standard.

nice answer up there, huh? anyway, everyone will give a different answer to this question depending on their taste and personallity. For me it would have to be Lithium by Nirvana. That song has completely changed my life. I can't look at anything the same..I swear to god. Kurt Cobain was a legend. I wish he was still around.

In my opinion it would have to be something by Led Zeppelin or Sir Elton John.
I know that's quite a difference there, but I love them both for different reasons.
Also, Queen would be in the running.
