I'm looking for the best Cingular phone I can find. Money isn't a problem but I don't need a lot of extras. My main concern is that it have a wireless ear piece and I am able to hear the person on the other end. NO static/poor reception. Don't need music, photos or anything else! Just the ability to hear CLEARLY. Thank you so much for your input.

I should have mentioned...
I keep it in my pocket, so it should be a flip phone, and I'd really like it to be wireless as far as the ear piece goes. Thank you all again.

Try the Nokia 6030. Nokia makes excellent quality handsets that tend to have better rectption than other manufacturers. The 6030 is no exception. It's not too fancy, just for making and receiving calls, but it does have a speakerphone and a built-in FM radio. There's no Blueuetooth on this one, but you could get a wired handsfree earpiece. If you really want Bluetooth or a flip phone I would go with a Motorola, more specifically, the RAZR. This one has some nice extras, which makes it a little pricy... but the stand-out feature is very good reception and call quality. Hope that helps! :)

I have a Nokia 6102i, and it gets good reception, but my mom's cingular phone, the Samsung D407, also has GREAT reception, and those are both camera flip phones, and I have heard great reveiws for the Pantach C300, also. personally, I would recommend the Samsung D407 if all you care about is the reception.
