I'm gonna rent a movie tonight and I'm just wondering what the process of getting a Blockbuster card is like...does it take a long time and how much does it cost?

I believe that you are required to undergo a 15 minute medical exam executed by the pimply faced youth behind the counter and then you are required to take a test with 47 questions on it, and then assuming you pass the test with 80% you are then required to donate a pint of blood or a minor organ.
Or maybe they just ask for some I.D. and give you a card on the spot.

It doesn't take long to get one, probably just a few minutes. It's free, but you have to provide a credit card just incase you decide to never return the rentals! It's easy and fast, so don't worry about the process.

Blockbuster will attempt to bill your card for overdue expenses. After a lengthy time period, they are going to attempt to bill you for the cost of the video. at the same time as they do no longer obtain charge, because the account is now no longer open, they are going to deliver you to collections which will damage your credit. merely go back the films.

It doesn't take very long. You have to have a credit card or checking account..but I don't think they charge you anything up front.
