Go to MSconfig under Start --> Run. Follow the tabs to Services and Startup. I reccomend to DISABLE ALL ITEMS UNDER STARTUP. This will get them to quit running.

Search online for a free program called "PC Decrapifier". This will help you uninstall all of the junk the big companies like to put on your computer. It will purposely exclude software that your computer needs to run so that you don't mess something up. If it's a new lap top, why are you worried about space? Software takes up the least amount of space on hard drives. The big space culprits are pictures, mp3s, and videos.

My most sincere advice to you is, DON'T delete the software that came with the wireless device. Intel does a lot better with the management of its hardware, then does Microsoft.

I've already gone through something similar with my included wireless, on my laptop.

theyre no longer asking for "prompt desktops" - they might ask for "prompt internet connection" - called wireless, w-lan ... meaning: you dont prefer a sim card to browse the internet or skype, yet you should use unfastened (no password required) wireless (eating places and bars many times furnish this!) or some locked (with a pincode or password) community. So prompt laptops have some chip interior, that we could you seek for that "prompt networks" and hook up with it - to furnish get right of entry to to the internet.
