limewire is one of the best i think, i used to use bearshare but that went downhill since bringing out a new version, so if i were you id go for limewire. i wouldnt go pro on it though, its no better than the free version to be honest.
i hear morpheus is a good 1 too? hmm...

you can download shareaza and u can download songs and then u can also download realplayer to play songs and make cds or u could download itunes for the burning part. or u can also use itunes to make either a mp3 cd, an audio cd, and a data cd
