interesting and persuasive speech topic for grade 8?
I need something powerful yet not boring..u know us teenagers these days i need something that will be a winner
btw..i'm a pretty good and confident presenter so any good topic should do

Write about discrimination against other races or write about how the government is taking out taxes and polluting out ocean :D

I'm 13 and in eighth grade, and I had to do persuasive essays last years. Honestly, I found out pretty fast that most topics were going to be boring- So I settled on whether or not Animal Testing should be legal.
I chose it because it was pretty easy, and moderately interesting. You can argue fo or against it...Animal testing saves lives by testing medications, animal testing is inhumane because it kill hundreds of thousands of innocent animals...there's obviously a strong counter argument that you can mention in some part of the speech, no matter what side you'd argue for.

Get rid of the penny! for a topic or something to do with the environment.
