okay, ive been begging my mom to let me go to the tanning salon to use their tanning beds. a couple of my friends moms let them get tans their. finally i had had enough, so i snuck out and got a tan their today, since its located a couple blocks away. i returned home and she never found out, because i just stayed in long enough to get a little darker, but mostly to see how it works, so i didnt stay in long. so, i decided im going back tomorrow, to stay in longer, because today i only stayed in for 10 minutes and you can barely tell. before i go again tomorrow without her permission, i want one more chance to get her to say yes, before i disobbey her again. how should i convince her?

You don't say how old you are - so it's hard to comment. BUT you should learn to take no as an answer. She may be right about not letting you use a tanning bed (again short on info - you don't say why she has said no) - have some respect for her. Also you are heading for trouble - if she still says no, and you go again she is going to know - isn't she?!! Think about it!!

well she is your mother, so i would think that she would have a reason for telling you not to go, like skin cancer, and besides, a tan body isn't really worth it anyways, if you really find it to be vital to have a perfectly tan body and your willing to take the risk of going against what your mom tells you, then that's fine but you should also be ready to accept the consequences.
as far as convincing her goes, just sit her down, calmly tell her all the (prepared) reasons why you want to get the tan, then LISTEN calmly as she tells you all the reasons she doesn't want you to do it. see if you can reach a compromise. if all else fails, there is always the backyard and a towel.

I had a friend who baked herself and died.
A week be fore prom she went to several diff rent tanning bed daily stayed to long in there, didn't tell the other tanning bed
places , her mom found her dead in her bed.
She never got to go to prom!
She cooked herself like a microwave and died! True story!

I get this spray on once a week i look good and they do a good job.
i use sun screen and by the way i never baked my self in a tanning bed and i look a lot younger than i am.

i think u should try 2 show her how responsible u r.
if u got siblings offer 2 babysit,do ur homework as soon as u get home improve in everything,clean room more than regular,do extra chores and if that doesn't work well just go without her permission but i must warn u d voice inside your head will tuant u until u tell her the truth.

Okay. Don't go behind your mother's back. She doesn't want you to tan because it will probably give you skin cancer...or make you wrinkly and ugly when you're old.
BUT, if you do want to be tanner, get a spray tan!!! They don't harm your skin and you'll look tan. Trust me, that is definitely the best solution.
And just because your friends get tans doesn't mean you have to.

First it's hard to answer without knowing your age. Second don't play keep up with the jones's. Be your self. Why do you want to be like your friends. If they jump off a cliff are you? Tanning isn't good for you. Especially young skin. You could damage your skin for the rest of your life. Do you want to take that chance and miss out on other things because your friends did.

If you are not 18, I don't know how they let you tan. When I went to the tanning bed they ALWAYS made me show ID. I went to tan for the prom four years ago, until my best friend got skin cancer. Stop going, it's not worth the risk. And I doubt you are that old because you had many spelling mistakes ex. their and there

Tanning can cause several problems for you on later on in life and possibly ruin your skin. I would listen to your mother. Tanning isn't that important is it. No one is going to say look how white that girl is. Also, if you are just doing this to be cooler don't. You shouldn't care what other people think.

don't! if you get a tan like that can cause cancer because it will burn you if you stay in to long! go with spray on tans they will last longer and they are organic and your mom will probably say yes!
