Well your name definitely lends itself to plenty of options (it's because at one time in history, the name Elizabeth was SO popular that they needed many different nicknames to tell women with the name apart).

Here are a few: Bess, Betty, Eliza, Elle (pronounced like the letter "L"), Elsie, Elsa, Izzy, Lisa, Liza, Lizbeth, Lise, Liddy, and Libby.

Or if you wanted to sound like a superhero, you could go by another nickname for Elizabeth: Buffy. ;-)

My Mother's name is Elizabeth also, but her family has always called her Lizette (Liz-ett), which I've never heard anyone else called before. I think it's a pretty name. I have heard the name spelled as Lisette, which is a French name.

coach or perchance some thing to do consisting of his well known hair. I wager Terry and Howie have a nickname for him LOL BTW, shouldn't this be revealed someplace else? Jimmy Johnson has no longer some thing to do with NASCAR as far as i recognize. i recognize Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman were area of HOF Racing yet i do not imagine Troy's former coach had some thing to do with it. 3 STR8 N 08!!!

Zeba, But I do agree that a nickname is usually bestowed upon you by someone else. However I do use a nickname when I sign an e-mail. You could try that to start.
