Yes some studies suggest you should limit consumption to less that 300mg. Newer studies suggest you can drink much, much more.

yes, just not a lot. When I was pregnant my Dr. Told me to try to limit it to 2 cups a day. So, I would only drink either a cup of pepsi or a cup of coffee, and I would drink water the rest of the day. I had 16 glasses of water each day!

My doctor advised me to limit it to 150 mg per day. I really hated drinking decaf so I'd drink half decaf and half caffeinated coffee. Also, one interesting thing that I learned is that darker roasted coffees have less caffeine.

yes you can... but limit yourself to only 2-3 cups though... you are allowed to drink 400 mg of caffeine a day while pregnant at the max to keep from having any health issues with the baby...

yep! Just keep it to a minimum. A cup or two a day should be fine. There have been studies that caffeine can be bad for babies in utero, but it is only a problem in VERY large amounts. If you are concerned you could also opt for decaf.

Yes, you can drink coffee. There is nothing wrong with it, it is made from all natural coffee beans. Make sure you drink plenty of water too!

It has been proved that caffeine can harm the fetus. How much caffeine does it take to harm the fetus.... no one knows... so saying you can drink a little and it will be OK... well... no one knows for sure how much "a little" is OK. Best to stay away from it so you know for sure caffeine won't harm your baby. Enjoy your pregnancy. It is so cool to feel that little one inside of you moving around !!!
